The Sad Story of a Dubai Princess fighting for her Freedom - Sheikha
Latifa Al Maktoum BBC Documentary.
Sheikha Latifa, 32, is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, the Emirates' prime minister and vice
president.
He is believed to have several dozen children from multiple wives, with
multiple daughters named Latifa.
In recent weeks, one of those Latifas has suddenly appeared frequently
in media and local media now make no mention of the Latifa who allegedly
tried to leave.
Human Rights Watch (HRW) has urged authorities in the United Arab
Emirates to reveal the whereabouts of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai's ruler.
After saying her family were imprisoning and abusing her, Sheikha Latifa
attempted to flee with the help of French former spy Hervé Jaubert and
long-time friend Tiina Johanna Jauhiainen, who is originally from
Finland.

Common Core: Based on UN Agenda 21, UNESCO Standards
Michael Chapman explains the Connections between Common Core, UNESCO,
and Agenda 21.
The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has a
program called "Education for All" that includes the same people and
same ideas as Common Core. The Global Fund for Education was formulated
by the UN, "agreed to" by Barack Obama, funded by Bill Gates, and Common
Core was imposed on the American people through Department of Education
(DOE) funding schemes.

Before explaining Common Core, you must first understand that it is a
part of the Agenda 21 program. In the Agenda 21 document chapter 36 is
titled "Promoting education, public awareness and training". This
chapter goes on to explain how promoting education, public awareness and
training, with focus on environmental education, is a critical theme
both relevant to the implementation of the whole of Agenda 21 and
indispensable for achieving sustainable development.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) has a program called "Education for All" that includes the same
people and same ideas as Common Core. The UNESCO goals and objectives
for education are very similar to the Agenda 21 and Common Core goals
and objectives.
During the 2008 Presidential campaign Barack Obama committed to making
sure that every child has the chance to learn by creating a Global Fund
for Education. This would require a new architecture of global
cooperation that requires institutions to "combine the efficiency and
capacity for action with inclusiveness."
UNESCO's educational goals and Common Core are both heavily funded by
activist and philanthropist Bill Gates. So the Global Fund for Education
was formulated by the UN, "agreed to" by Barack Obama, funded by Bill
Gates, and Common Core was imposed on the American people through
Department of Education (DOE) funding schemes that included "strings." I
say "agreed to" because the taxpayers never had a say, or vote, and
neither did the 45 States who were essentially coerced into adopting by
the president's Race to the Top program, before Common Core was even
defined, because they desperately wanted the federal funds that came
with it. The "strings" were that it was a take it or leave it now
proposition from the DOE -- there was no time for analysis or
evaluations. Just sign on now and accept your federal funds. 45 states
did sign on, while Texas, Alaska, Virginia, and Nebraska declined.
Minnesota did adopt the English standards but not the math standards.
Common Core promotes the "three E's" of Agenda 21 -- equity, economy and
environment. These three E's are integrated throughout the standards
and intended to be taught in every class, including math. To be clear
the real meaning of these three E's is as follows:
Equity means social equity or social justice, it does not equal
justice. It means the "Common Good" — not individual rights.
Economy means redistribution of wealth, global trade, and
Public/Private Partnerships (PPPs).
Environment means animals have equal rights or even more rights than
humans. Nature or the environment is the central organizing principle
for our economy and society.
We have established that the Common Core standards are derived from
UNESCO and Agenda 21 goals and objectives, and that it has been accepted
by 45 states. But does that mean Common Core is so entrenched in the US
that it's here to stay? Maybe not. Opposition to Common Core is growing
daily.

Trump Welcomes French President Macron to White House
President Donald Trump and first lady, Melania Trump welcomed French
President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron to the White
House in a formal arrival ceremony.
The arrival was heavy on pomp, with nearly 500 U.S. service-members from
all five military branches participating in the ceremonial welcome,
which includes a "Review of the Troops."
Vice President Mike Pence and several members of Trump's Cabinet,
lawmakers, and military families were in attendance. The audience
included students from the Maya Angelou French Immersion School in
Temple Hills, Maryland.
The two leaders are spending the morning in meetings and then hold a
joint news conference. On Tuesday night, Macron will be feted at Trump's
first state dinner.

STORY: The former French intelligence officer who helped Dubai princess
Sheikha Latifa escape from the UAE has now lodged a case with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), alleging that India violated
diplomatic conventions when it helped Emirati officials take the 33-
year-old royal back home.
Ms Latifa had escaped earlier this year alleging that her father, the
Prime Minister of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Saeed Al Maktoum, was
torturing her and keeping her in confinement.
62-year-old Herve Jaubert, who is now an American national, says that on
March 4 when they were about to reach India via the Goa coast, the
Indian coast guard surrounded them and went on to attack them before
handing them over to officials from the UAE.
"I saw an Indian navy plane and warships everywhere,'' he said
describing what happened during the escape bid, in an interview to NDTV
from London.
Mr Jaubert and the princess were accompanied by a crew of four others on
his yacht Nostromo which is registered in the US. Apparently, the
princess had been in touch with him since 2010 because he had also made
his escape from Dubai after falling out with local authorities in 2008.

According to NDTV,
Latifa sent her last WhatsApp message to her British-based lawyer Radha
Stirling asking her to share the video in the event of her
disappearance. She is believed to have sent the messages from
a U.S.-registered boat whose location was last reported as 50 miles off
the Indian coastline.
“Radha, please help me, there are men outside,” she said, adding that she could hear gunshots outside.
Stirling said Latifa contacted her legal firm Detained in Dubai in
February, claiming she was forced to leave Dubai after being tortured
for helping her older sister who also fled the country.
Latifa said her sister fled because she was “not allowed to make
choices for her future,” and was also denied basic freedoms such as
driving a car and required a nighttime curfew. She added that, by the
time people saw the video, she could be “dead or in a really bad
situation.”
“The email ID was confirmed by her friend and mutual contacts
including a solicitor in Britain,” said Stirling, adding that both
individuals were “concerned that the Indian authorities would simply
notify the UAE of their whereabouts and turn them in immediately.”
The British Metropolitan police said in a statement that all
“information in relation to the missing persons has been forwarded to
the National Crime Agency and Interpol to international liaison officers
to investigate.”
Latifa claims to be one of the 30 children of Sheikh Mohammed Bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, who has ruled since 2006 as vice president and prime
minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as well as the Emirate of
Dubai.

Disgraced Parkland Officer Lied, Radio Dispatch Recordings Reveal
As gunman Nikolas Cruz went on a rampage at Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, firing on students and teachers until his semiautomatic AR-15 jammed, Broward Deputy Scot Peterson cowered outside behind the safety of cover, “pointing his gun at nothing.”
Peterson publicly stated that he thought gunfire was happening outside on campus, not inside the building – perhaps to justify not going in to stop the shooting which claimed 17 lives.
He lied.
Internal radio dispatches released by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Thursday reveal Peterson immediately focused on Building 12 and radioed that gunfire was happening “inside.”
What’s more – Peterson warned his fellow officer to stay away – despite wounded students and staff inside who required assistance. Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) policy requires deputies to engage an active shooter and eliminate the threat.
“Do not approach the 12 or 1300 building, stay at least 500 feet away,” shouted a panicked Peterson as people screamed in the background.
The timeline of events and audio recording of police radio chatter shed new light on the response by the BSO.
BSO police union president Jeff Bell welcomed the release of the audio and timeline of events.
“It certainly backs up that he never went into the school,” Bell said of Scot Peterson. “At one point he says to keep back 500 feet. Why would he say that?”

Cruz was dropped off at the school by an Uber at 2:19 p.m. Two minutes later, he entered Building 12. He began firing within 15 seconds. Peterson, at the time, was near the administration building.
At that moment, according to the video, Peterson arrived at the southeast corner of Building 12, where he appeared to remain “for the duration of the incident.” “We’re talking about the 1200 building, it’s going to be the building off Holmberg Road,” Peterson said frantically seconds later.
“Get the school locked down, gentlemen!” he shouted.
As the shots intensified, other deputies began racing to the scene, radioing in. One believed he heard shots by the football field, something Peterson mentioned in a statement released last month by his attorney, arguing that the school resource deputy thought shots were coming from outside the 1200 building.
“BSO trains its officers that in the event of outdoor gunfire one is to seek cover and assess the situation in order to communicate what one observes with other law enforcement,” Peterson’s attorney said.
But Peterson, according to the timeline and radio dispatches reviewed by the Miami Herald, remained focused on Building 12.
“All right… We also heard it’s by, inside the 1200,” Peterson said at 2:25 p.m.
Joseph DiRuzzo, Peterson’s attorney, did not respond to an email and a call to his office. Peterson resigned eight days after the shooting rather than be suspended without pay pending an internal affairs investigation.
As the shooting progressed, calls began “blowing up” the 911 call centers. Students were spilling out of the campus. Peterson radioed to make sure “no one comes inside the school.”
At 2:27 p.m., six minutes after Cruz went into Building 12, the shooting stopped. Cruz ditched his AR-15 in the third-floor stairwell and left.
Five seconds later, Peterson radioed for officers to “stay at least 500 feet away at this point.” A dispatcher repeated, “Stay away from 12 and 1300 building.”
Coral Springs officer Tim Burton had just arrived at Douglas High. At 2:28 p.m., he radioed out the first description of Cruz: “White male with ROTC Uniform Burgundy Shirt” — exactly what the shooter was wearing when he was arrested later. How Burton obtained the information was unclear from the timeline.
At 2:29 p.m., as officers began encountering wounded students, Burton met with Peterson outside Building 12.
The chaos continued. Deputies tried getting into Building 13 next door, but it was locked. A fleeing student appeared to be stuck in a fence; a deputy asked for bolt cutters. One deputy called for a command post to be set up.
“We need to get units in here so we can try to find this guy,” a deputy radioed.
At 2:31 p.m., BSO Capt. Jan Jordan, whose supervision of the response has also been scrutinized amid questions about whether she slowed police response by ordering a perimeter, speaks for the first time: “Do we have a perimeter set up right now and everyone cleared out of the school?”
“That’s negative,” a dispatcher responds.
It was at 2:32 — 11 minutes after the shooting began — that four Coral Springs officers and two BSO deputies made the first police entrance into the building, helping to “extract a victim.”
Jordan is back on the radio one minute later: “I want to make sure that we have a perimeter set up (unintelligible), all the kids are getting out, but we need to shut down around this school.”
By 2:35 p.m., officers were seen transporting a victim on a golf cart. One minute after that, 10 officers burst into Building 12 through an east-side entrance.
Down the street, Cruz had entered a Walmart and bought a drink at the Subway inside. At 3:40 p.m., a Coconut Creek officer saw Cruz and arrested him without incident. Cruz was indicted Wednesday on 17 counts of first-degree murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office released the timeline Thursday following weeks of mounting pressure to make the details of its police response public. The Miami Herald, South Florida Sun-Sentinel and CNN sued the agency last month to force it to release surveillance video outside of the 1200 building, and their lawyers argued in court Thursday that it was in the public interest to release the footage.
Also Thursday, the sheriff’s office released 911 calls received by dispatchers and police documents related to its handling of calls to Cruz’s various addresses detailing his family’s troubled domestic life.
The sheriff’s office tweeted about the case Thursday evening.
“BSO agreed in court today with the media that surveillance video from outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High should be released publicly. Legal exemptions block the release unless a judge approves. The judge took it under advisement and we hope for a ruling shortly.”
