Reagan Sailors Describe Serious Illness From Fukushima Radiation

and island superstructure to remove potential radiation contamination.
USS Ronald Reagan is operating off the coast of Japan providing
humanitarian assistance as directed in support of Operation Tomodachi. A
9.0 magnitude strong earthquake struck offshore on March 11 at 2:46pm
local time, triggering a tsunami wave of up to ten meters which engulfed
large parts of north-eastern Japan, and also damaging the Fukushima
nuclear plant and threatening a nuclear catastrophe. The death toll
continues to rise with numbers of dead and missing exceeding 20,000 in a
tragedy not seen since World War II in Japan.
Eight U.S. sailors are suing the Tokyo utility that
operates the Fukushima nuclear power plant, charging that the company
lied about the high level of radiation in the area where they were carrying out a humanitarian mission after the tsunami that triggered the reactor crisis.
The lawsuit was filed in U.S.
District Court in San Diego last week against Tokyo Electric Power Co.,
which is owned by the Japanese government. Plaintiffs include the infant
daughter of two of the sailors who was born seven months after the
March 2011 disaster.
The sailors served on the San Diego-based aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan,
which was carrying out "Operation Tomadachi" ferrying food and water to
citizens in the city of Sendai in the wake of the earthquake and
tsunami.

Codex Alimentarius Rises from Auschwitz Death Camp
Codex Alimentarius is a testament to the continuing and
increasing power of the titans of world corporations, able to take
control of our most basic needs, turning them into profit-driven
industries, and pressing us into the slavery of feeding their greed.

Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Its name signifies the horror of Nazi Germany. In its conglomeration of 48 camps, over a million people were exterminated in gas chambers, starved to death, murdered individually, and killed and tortured in horrific medical experiments.
Codex Alimentarius is a modern-day tool for usurping the people’s rights to limit their choices in that most basic of needs: food. The rules set forth by Codex bureaucrats, people who, for the most part, know nothing of nutrition or health, are enforced on humanity by national governments and treaties. Their decisions are based on the instructions of masters from Big Pharma and Agribusiness, corporate entities that are on the verge of taking complete control of the food supply and what’s left of health.
What do these two exemplars of fascism, Auschwitz and Codex Alimentarius, have in common?
Bayer, pharmaceuticals and agribusiness.
BASF, agribusiness.
Hoechst, later called Aventis, which became part of Sanofi pharmaceuticals.
These are three of the corporations that comprised the super conglomerate IG Farben. They owned Auschwitz. After World War II, IG Farben was split up, putting Bayer, BASF, and Hoechst back on their own.

Amputations, beheadings and a crucifixion: Horrific stories from Yemen where Al Qaeda has imposed sharia law

Al Qaeda committed 'truly shocking'
human rights abuses including crucifixions and the beheading of an
alleged sorceror during its 16 months in control of a southern region of
Yemen, a report by Amnesty International claimed today.
The London-based charity has also released a video which appears to show a suspected thief having his hand amputated by the Ansar al-Sharia militia, which seized power of the Abyan governorate in February 2011.
Amnesty said dozens more civilians were then killed during reckless counter-insurgency operations by the Yemeni government as it sought to win back the territory from the Al Qaeda-affiliated group.
The tragedies would 'haunt Yemen for decades to come' unless the perpetrators were caught and the families compensated, the charity said.
Amnesty International Middle East and North Africa Director Philip Luther said: 'Abyan experienced a human rights catastrophe as Ansar al-Sharia and government forces vied for control of the region during 2011 and the first half of 2012.
'The Yemeni authorities must ensure that a commission of inquiry announced in September covers the truly shocking abuses committed.
'The tragedy of Abyan will haunt Yemen for decades to come unless those responsible are held to account and victims and their families receive reparations.'
Amnesty's 55-page report, Conflict in Yemen: Abyan's Darkest Hour, documents violations of the rules of war during the armed conflict between government forces and Ansar al-Sharia, an Islamist armed group affiliated to al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

In addition, the report shows that the Yemeni government response to Ansar al-Sharia included indiscriminate attacks resulting in the unnecessary loss of civilian life, obstructing medical care and subjecting suspected fighters to enforced disappearance.

North Carolina: Driving While Nervous is Not a Crime

The officers pulled out and caught up to the minivan. When the patrol car pulled along side, the minivan occupants did not make eye contact. The deputies claimed they saw the vehicle cross the fog line and was driving slowly, so they pulled it over for “unsafe movement.” A dashcam video of the incident shows no crossing of the fog line or other evidence of unsafe driving.
Gina Canty, the driver, was given a warning. She also consented to a search that uncovered a revolver and a rifle in a suitcase belonging to the passenger, her ex-husband Nathaniel Canty. A Sampson County Superior Court judge found Nathaniel Canty guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm. On appeal, a three-judge panel began poking holes in the police account of events.

The second-highest court in North Carolina last week ruled police had
no business stopping a car because its occupants appeared to be driving
while nervous. On April 15, 2011, a pair of Sampson County sheriff’s
deputies were running a speed trap on Interstate 40 when they noticed a
green minivan. Corporal Bass and Pope each testified the vehicle slowed
from 73 MPH to 65 MPH in the 70 MPH zone and that the driver and
passenger stared straight ahead and “appeared nervous” as they passed. The officers pulled out and caught up to the minivan. Why We Should All Care About Today’s Senate Vote on the FISA Amendments Act
Trevor Timm
EFF.org
December 27, 2012
Today is an incredibly important vote for the future of your digital privacy, but some in Congress are hoping you won’t find out.
Finally, after weeks of delay, the Senate will start debate on the dangerous FISA Amendments Act at 10 am Eastern and vote on its re-authorization by the end of the day. The FISA Amendments Act is the broad domestic spying bill passed in 2008 in the wake of the warrantless wiretapping scandal. It expires at the end of the year and some in Congress wanted to re-authorize it without a minute of debate.
The good news is—thanks for your phone calls, emails, and tweets—Congress will now be forced to debate it, which means, we can affect its outcome. In case you forget just how dangerous the FISA Amendments Act is to your privacy, here’s how we described it last week:
The Wyden Oversight and Transparency Amendments
Sen. Ron Wyden, one of the most ardent defenders of civil liberties in the Senate, has been asking the NSA for months for information on how the FISA Amendments Act has impacted Americans.
The NSA has so far refused, yet, as the New York Times reported in 2009, we know the NSA was still intercepting domestic communications in a “significant and systematic” way. We also know the secret FISA court ruled, on at least one occasion, that the government had violated the Fourth Amendment when conducting surveillance under the FAA. Yet the NSA has rather unbelievably claimed releasing the number of Americans whose privacy has been violated would violate those same Americans’ privacy.
Ron Wyden’s amendment would force the NSA to come clean and give a general estimate of how many Americans have been affected by this unconstitutional bill, and finally give us information Americans deserve.
In addition, another Wyden amendment would clarify that the acquisition of American communications is prohibited without a warrant. Sen. Wyden has accused the government of conducting “backdoor searches,” whereby the government collects communications of foreign individuals talking to Americans, but later goes back into the government’s database of intercepted communications and reviews the Americans’ comunications. Sen. Wyden hopes this clarification to the law will help guard against further intrusive spying on American communications.
The Rand Paul Fourth Amendment Amendment
Republican Senator Rand Paul has commendably been one of the few voices unequivocally denouncing the FISA Amendments Act as a violation of the Fourth Amendment. To that end, Sen. Paul will be introducing “the Fourth Amendment Protection Act” which will re-iterate that all US communications, whether sought by US intelligence agencies like the NSA or any government agency, are protected against unwarranted searches and seizures—even if they are held by third party email providers like Google. You can read Sen. Paul’s amendment here.
The Merkley FISA Court Amendment
Both in 2010 and 2011, Obama administration officials promised to work to declassify secret FISA court opinions that contained “important rulings of law.” These opinions would shed light on whether and how Americans’ communications have been illegally spied on. Since then, the administration has refused to declassify a single opinion, even though the administration admitted in July that the FISA court ruled that collection done under the FAA had violated the Fourth Amendment rights of an unknown number of Americans on at least one occasion.
Starting with the precept that “secret law is inconsistent with democratic governance,” Sen. Jeff Merkley’s amendment would force the government to release any FISA court opinions that contain significant interpretations of the FISA Amendments Act so the American public can know how it may or may not be used against them.
The Leahy Sunset Amendment
About the only good part in the original FISA Amendments Act was the provision that stated it would expire after four years so Congress could fully debate its use and abuse before reauthorizing, if reauthorization was even necessary. Unfortunately, Congress has been resisting the debate, and the new bill would extend the FAA for five more years. That means the law would not sunset again until President Obama is out of office. Senator Leahy’s amendment would shorten the law’s length to three years. While any extension of a law that results in unconstitional spying is unacceptable, the shorter the re-authorization, the better.
Please use Free Press’ call-in tool to talk to your Senator’s office on the phone or use EFF’s action center to email your Senators. Tell them to vote for these privacy-friendly amendments and to vote no on warrantless domestic spying.

The FISA Amendments Act continues to be controversial; key portions of it were challenged in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court this term. In brief, the law allows the government to get secret FISA court orders—orders that do not require probable cause like regular warrants—for any emails or phone calls going to and from overseas. The communications only have to deal with “foreign intelligence information,” a broad term that can mean virtually anything. And one secret FISA order can be issued against groups or categories of people—potentially affecting hundreds of thousands of Americans at once.Any Senator who wants to stay true to the Constitution should vote no on its re-authorization, but in the alternative, there are four common sense amendments up for debate tomorrow that would go a long-way in curbing the law’s worst abuses.

New regulations added to National Firearms Act will streamline confiscation process.
American Gun Owners to be Fingerprinted and Registered: Feinstein Announces Nightmare Plan
Infowars.com
December 27, 2012

California Democrat Dianne Feinstein will introduce legislation in January calling for the fingerprinting and registering of all gun owners in the United States.
On her Senate web page, Feinstein states her proposed legislation will add fingerprinting and photo identification to the National Firearms Act.
A firearms seller must currently submit Form 4473 to the government containing the name, address, driver license information, NICS background check transaction number, serial number and model of the firearm, and a short federal affidavit stating that the purchaser is eligible to purchase firearms under federal law. Feinstein’s bill will add a substantial layer of bureaucracy to the existing regulations.
The effort to expand firearms registration will include weapons grandfathered prior to the enactment of Feinstein’s proposed legislation. In other words, all gun owners will be required to register their constitutionally guaranteed firearms with a federal government inimical to the Second Amendment.
Feinstein’s registration process will likely surpass New York City’s handgun permit process, which is a bureaucratic nightmare. In addition to non-refundable fees totaling over $500, the permit process demands two recent color photos, a birth certificate, proof of citizenship and residence, a blizzard of affidavits, and other red-tape hurdles. Applications are routinely denied for spurious reasons, including non-violent misdemeanors and depression.
As Dean Weingarten notes, gun registration is de facto gun confiscation. Following mandatory gun registration, the government “will know who has legal possession of each firearm. They will know where the firearm is stored. When physical possession of the gun is desired, they can order you to turn it in. This has happened repeatedly,” most notably in Nazi Germany, Red China and Soviet Russia.
More recently, it has occurred in Kosovo, Great Britain, Australia, New York, and California. If Feinstein has her way next month, it will happen across America.
Democrats and their Republican co-conspirators are going all out to ban firearms. Feinstein’s bill will ban the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of 120 specifically-named firearms, including semiautomatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns that can accept detachable and fixed magazines and have “one military characteristic.”
In addition, Feinstein’s bill will outlaw flash suppressors, bayonet mounts, thumbhole stocks and bullet buttons on firearms.
Make no mistake about it. Obama and his anti-Second Amendment allies in Congress are coming for your guns. If they have their way, the only legal firearms in America will be rifles with 10 round magazines and single shot and bolt-action rifles – and those firearms will be registered with the government and may be confiscated at any moment.

CONFIRMED: Section of Gotham Renamed “Sandy Hook” in Latest ‘Dark Knight’ Release
Infowars.com
December 20, 2012
[See Update Below]
A few days ago we posted an article pointing out that director Christopher Nolan’s latest Batman release “The Dark Knight Rises,” which was recently released on DVD, bizarrely featured a mention of the words “Sandy Hook” (at approximately 1:58).
Since that “minor coincidence,” we’ve scoured the Batman movies and pored over various Gotham City maps to find anything that could support the theory that the movies may have had hints of foreknowledge of the tragic massacre that occurred last week, because where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.
What we’ve found is interesting to say the least.
We looked at different maps of Batman’s fictional home town Gotham City and compared them with each of the films.
In the latest film, the southern section of Gotham is without a doubt called “Sandy Hook,” however, according to our research, this section was renamed somewhere between the first film and the last.
Take a look at the map in this still frame found in the first Batman movie, “Batman Begins,” taken around 14:41:
Although blurry, the colors match up with the map below, in which the southern section in question is called, “South Hinkley,” not “Sandy Hook”:
See the below comparison:
Also, the design of the map is different than ones seen in “The Dark Knight Rises:”
In “The Dark Knight Rises,” the Sandy Hook island holds the Gotham stadium that super-villain Bane demolishes.
A book titled “The Dark Knight Manual,” the “definitive guide to his tools, vehicles, and technologies,” was published, according to Amazon, on July 10, 2012 and features a map in which the section is called “South Hinkley,” not “Sandy Hook.” The book is described as “an in-world exploration of Christopher Nolan’s Batman,” and was released nearly simultaneously with the “Dark Knight Rises” movie, yet it fails to reflect the southern Gotham island as “Sandy Hook.”
Meanwhile, numerous December 2011 posts tell of promotional material being sent out by Warner Brothers in advance of the “Dark Knight Rises,” curiously with maps.
Screen capture taken from FirstShowing.net.
The website FirstShowing.net says they received a package containing a “new Bane ‘Fire Rises’ t-shirt that comes in a tube wrapped in a map of Gotham City.” In this promotional material, vividly showing Bane’s “strike zones,” the map shows the southernmost island is titled “Sandy Hook.” A tip of the hat to the Gothamist who also informed their readers of this.
According to the website DarkKnightNews.com, director Eli Roth also received a promo kit. In a Twitter post last year, the Cabin Fever director was featured wearing the Bane t-shirt saying, “THIS just showed up at my house with no explanation or return address. Should I be worried?”.
The “No Man’s Land” Batman comic series (published March – November 1999) featured a cover with the section in question going under the label “Tri-corner Yards,” and various other, seemingly older maps show this title as well.
Some people have argued that “Sandy Hook” appears in “The Dark Knight” because Gotham City is supposed to represent New York City, which is somewhat true, and that because there is a bay and beach in the same vicinity of New York City by that name (actually in New Jersey) that “Sandy Hook” appears as a nod to reality.
For those who are left asking, “Why would someone do this?” Alfred Pennyworth, butler to Bruce Wayne, says of an evil force in “The Dark Knight” movie, “some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
Someone on another message board pointed out an interesting exchange between Commissioner Gordon and the newly promoted detective Blake in “The Dark Knight Rises”:
Blake: Sir, that could all just be a coincidence.
Commissioner Gordon: You’re a detective now, son. You’re not allowed to believe in coincidence anymore.
Now the questions become: Why did they change the name from “South Hinkley” to “Sandy Hook,” and Who authorized the change?
If you are enjoying spotting these bizarre coincidences and traveling down the road of curiosity with us, stay tuned for tomorrow’s scintillating revelation that some are saying is the “smoking gun” needed to tie the Dark Knight Rises, the Aurora massacre and the Sandy Hook tragedy. We guarantee it will leave you wondering, “Exactly WTF is going on?!”
[Update: In the map, a "South Hinkley" was renamed. Although spelled differently, this may be a reference to John W. Hinckley, the gunman that attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981.]

Others argue that the name “Sandy Hook” is just a common name for towns.

Numerous school massacres stopped by gun owners who wielded their weapons in defense of children
(NaturalNews) In the midst of all the anti-gun hysteria following the senseless murder of 26 people - 20 of them first graders - at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., one story that is repeatedly overlooked is how often a firearm has been used to save lives and stop senseless murders.
We here at Natural News believe the mainstream media, which so often overlooks these kinds of stories because they don't fit into the statist government worldview held by the majority of news editors, has done a disservice to the public by ignoring these acts of selflessness and heroism.
With that in mind, we bring just some of the most recent high-profile incidents - including what could have been additional school massacres - that were stopped by law-abiding citizens using their Second Amendment rights to protect themselves and others. Scores of individual uses that never get reported are not included here:
Pearl High School, Mississippi: This incident began the morning of Oct. 1, 1997, when 16-year-old student Luke Windham entered the school with a rifle. Wearing only an orange jumpsuit and a trench coat and making no effort to hide his weapon, he initially entered the school and shot and killed two students, injuring seven others. He was stopped by assistant principal Joel Myrick, who retrieved a .45 cal. handgun from the glove box of his truck.
"I've always kept a gun in the truck just in case something like this ever happened," said Myrick at the time, who went on to become principal of Corinth High School, Corinth, Miss.
Appalachia Law School, Virginia: On Jan. 16, 2002, Peter Odighizuwa, 43, a former student from Nigeria, arrived on the campus of the school with a handgun around 1:00 p.m. and immediately killed three people, at least two of them at point-blank range. Two students - Mikael Gross and Tracy Bridges - both retrieved handguns from their vehicles and confronted Odighizuwa. As former police officers, both men were trained to subdue suspects but the fact is they were on the scene and armed, and helped prevent more killings.
Muskegon, Michigan: From the Aug. 23, 1995, issue of the Muskegon Chronicle: "Plans to slay everyone in the Muskegon, Michigan, store and steal enough cash and jewelry to feed their 'gnawing hunger for crack cocaine' fell apart for a band of would-be killers after one of their victims fought back. Store owner Clare Cooper was returning behind the counter after showing three of the four conspirators some jewelry, when one of the group pulled out a gun and shot him four times in the back. Stumbling for the safety of his bullet-proof glass-encased counter, Cooper managed to grab his shotgun and fire as the suspects fled."
Colorado Springs, Colo.: On Dec. 9, 2007, gunman Mathew Murray, 24, launched an armed attack against the parishioners of the New Life Church that ultimately left two innocent victims dead. But the toll could have been much higher, were it not for the heroic actions of former police officer Jeanne Assam from Minnesota. In an interview she said she very nearly decided not to go to church that morning but because she saw a headline on her computer indicating that two young people were murdered and a training center for Christian missionaries about 70 miles away in the Denver suburb of Arvada, she changed her mind. Murray shot a total of five people before an armed Assam shot and killed him. There were about 7,000 people at the church at the time of the attack.
"Criminologist Gary Kleck estimates that 2.5 million Americans use guns to defend themselves each year. Out of that number, 400,000 believe that but for their firearms, they would have been dead," columnist Larry Elder wrote in July, following the shooting tragedy at the premier of the latest Batman movie in Aurora, Colo.
"We know from Census Bureau surveys that something beyond 100,000 uses of guns for self-defense occur every year," adds Professor Emeritus James Q. Wilson, a public policy expert at the University of California-Los Angeles. "We know from smaller surveys of a commercial nature that the number may be as high as two-and-a-half or three million. We don't know what the right number is, but whatever the right number is, it's not a trivial number."

Exclusive: Cops, detectives, FBI agents, U.S. soldiers tell Natural News they will not enforce gun confiscation orders
(NaturalNews) In the wake of the recent Sandy Hook shooting, I reached out to my contacts in law enforcement, military and (retired) FBI over the last three days, asking three simple questions:
#1) Do you think Obama will use executive orders to demand nationwide gun confiscation?
#2) If such an order is given, will you or fellow members of your organization enforce it against the citizens? (And if so, how?)
#3) What is the solution to stopping future mass shootings?
I posed these questions to one ex-FBI agent, one retired Sheriff's deputy, two active duty city police detectives, one retired former police captain of a major U.S. city, two U.S. Army veterans and one USMC veteran, discharged several years ago after two tours in Afghanistan during which he sustained a severe personal injury. For obvious reasons, none of them wish to be identified by name, but their answers below speak to their credibility and authenticity.
Here are their answers.
Only two of the eight people I questioned thought that Obama would call for outright gun confiscation, and one of those believed it would only be a restriction on so-called "assault rifles" but not shotguns or handguns.
Everyone believed that Obama would at minimum call for restrictions on weapon magazine capacity, most likely seeking to limit that to ten rounds per magazine (which is also the current limit in California). I was also told that Obama might attempt to federalize mandatory waiting periods for gun purchases, which already exist in some states but not all.
The retired police captain told me that, "Door-to-door confiscation by men and women in blue [i.e. city cops] would be a suicide mission." If ordered to conduct such gun confiscation actions, many would simply resign on the spot rather than risk their lives in firefights with determined gun owners, he explained. "Our officers are not generally willing to assume the increased risk of such a police action."
He also explained, importantly, that most police officers have not even been trained to conduct sweeping, community-level weapons confiscation programs. "This goes against all our community outreach efforts where we try to earn the trust of the community." If cops suddenly became gun confiscation enforcers, trust would break down and policing would become extremely difficult, he explained.
The USMC veteran told me that some of the younger soldiers would go along with gun confiscation if ordered, but that nearly all the older military personnel would likely refuse such orders, even at risk of a court martial. "Some of the guys actually talked about this on deployment. The E-1's might follow those orders but most of us who managed to stay alive through a couple of tours are too smart for that. You'd have AWOL out the ass. We didn't sign up to engage Americans as enemy combatants. The answer would be F*%K NO all the way up the chain of command."
One of the police detectives explained another reason for saying no: "There is no love for gun confiscation in law enforcement. We're all gun owners and most of us grew up with guns, hunting, target shooting or just collecting. Most of us have gun collections when we're off duty, and Obama himself isn't well liked across law enforcement. There's no way police officers are going to put their lives on the line to go along with an order from a President who really doesn't have moral authority among cops."
When I asked what if Bush had called for gun confiscation, and would cops be more likely to comply if the order was given by a Republican, the reply was, "For some guys, yes, because they will listen to a Republican more than a Democrat, but still for rank-and-file officers who are just here collecting a paycheck for a risky job, they're no way they're going to engage in what is basically a war action just to keep that job. You can't pay them enough to pull that kind of duty, gun confiscation."
I was told by more than one person in this group that any effort by Obama to invoke gun confiscation could lead America to civil war if any real effort were made to enforce it.
When I asked him about a practical solution to reduce shootings, he said that in his opinion, "Levying new taxes on all handguns like the tax stamps on class three weapons" would likely prevent new guns from being purchased by most violent criminals, but it wouldn't take guns out of the hands of criminals who already have them. "These people will break into your car to steal the coins out of your vehicle console. They have no morals, no limits. There's almost nothing they won't do to get what they want, which is usually drugs."
As background, the BATF currently levies a $200 tax stamp for the transfer of any suppressor (silencer), short-barreled rifle, or full-auto weapon, all of which are VERY expensive to acquire and require extensive background checks to legally own.
"Most of the gun violence in our city is drug addicts raiding the homes of other drug addicts. The statistics might appear to show a lot of armed robberies and shootings, but it's really just a small subset of homes or apartments getting raided over and over again by the same people, the drug dealers." When I asked what the real drug problem was, he answered without hesitation. "Meth." Not pot, not marijuana, not even heroin. Meth is the drug that drives violent crime in America's cities.
The retired Sheriff's deputy told me that the solution was to, "Arm the teachers. Tear down the 'gun free zone' signs and put weapons in the hands of school personnel."
This opinion was seconded by one of the active-duty police detectives, who said he had actually worked several shootings, but never a mass shooting. "A mass shooting takes time, often several minutes," he explained. "That's too fast for the police to arrive on scene, but it's plenty of time for someone already on location to pursue and engage the active shooter."
He went on to explain that in the training they have been receiving over the last five years, they have been taught that ANY engagement of an active shooter -- even shots that don't hit the shooter -- are now believed among law enforcement to disrupt the shooter and force him to seek cover, during which his massacre is interrupted and delayed. Where police have traditionally been trained to "confirm your sight picture" of weapon sights on the target before pulling the trigger, that training is being modified in some cities where, in the context of a mass shooter firing off a large number of rounds, even returning so-called "suppressing fire" is now considered tactically acceptable until additional backup arrives. The idea now is to go in and engage the shooter, even if you're just one officer on the scene.
This is contradictory to previous training, and it goes against most cops' safety rules which include, "always know what is BEYOND your target." But tacticians in law enforcement are apparently now figuring out that the opportunity cost of NOT shooting back is much greater than the relatively small risk of hitting an innocent victim when laying down suppressing fire.
It is therefore believed, I was told, that even concealed carry principals or other school staff can effectively lay down that "suppressing fire" even if they are not nailing the active shooter. Obviously, this does not mean firing blindly into a crowd, for example. Each tactical situation is unique and requires rapid assessment before pulling the trigger in any direction.
There is an excellent article on all this at PoliceOne.com, covering a hard-hitting presentation by Lt. Colonel Dave Grossman. Here's a particularly compelling excerpt from the article:
The challenge for law enforcement agencies and officers, then, is to overcome not only the attacks taking place in schools, but to first overcome the denial in the minds of mayors, city councils, school administrators, and parents. Grossman said that agencies and officers, although facing an uphill slog against the denial of the general public, must diligently work toward increasing understanding among the sheep that the wolves are coming for their children. Police officers must train and drill with teachers, not only so responding officers are intimately familiar with the facilities, but so that teachers know what they can do in the event of an attack.
"Come with me to the library at Columbine High School," Grossman said. "The teacher in the library at Columbine High School spent her professional lifetime preparing for a fire, and we can all agree if there had been a fire in that library, that teacher would have instinctively, reflexively known what to do.
"But the thing most likely to kill her kids -- the thing hundreds of times more likely to kill her kids, the teacher didn't have a clue what to do. She should have put those kids in the librarian's office but she didn't know that. So she did the worst thing possible -- she tried to secure her kids in an un-securable location. She told the kids to hide in the library -- a library that has plate glass windows for walls. It's an aquarium, it's a fish bowl. She told the kids to hide in a fishbowl. What did those killers see? They saw targets. They saw fish in a fish bowl."
Grossman said that if the school administrators at Columbine had spent a fraction of the money they'd spent preparing for fire doing lockdown drills and talking with local law enforcers about the violent dangers they face, the outcome that day may have been different.
Rhetorically he asked the assembled cops, "If somebody had spent five minutes telling that teacher what to do, do you think lives would have been saved at Columbine?"
Nevertheless, even if opinions are different in other cities and states, it is clear to me that law enforcement in Southern states will NOT comply with gun confiscation directives issued by Obama. Obama simply does not have the moral authority -- nor the law enforcement support -- to pull off such an action. While his political supporters claim he has a "mandate" across America, that's far from the truth. Obama is widely despised across states like Texas, Florida, Arizona and nearly all of rural America. He only enjoys support in the cities, and primarily in the inner cities.
Also, throughout law enforcement it is widely known that Obama staged Operation Fast & Furious and then got caught. The fact that at least one murder of a U.S. border patrol agent was caused by one of these weapons has made U.S. law enforcement officers realize that the Obama administration is, in many ways, actively working against their interests and even compromising their safety.
The question was raised to me: If Obama is against gun violence, why did he allow thousands of guns to "walk" into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, knowing they would be turned against U.S. law enforcement officers? (Don't hold your breath waiting for Obama to shed a tear for Brian Terry...)
Conclusion? If Obama were to announce a nationwide gun confiscation order, it might set off a civil war, pitting armed gun owners, cops, veterans and preppers against the completely disarmed, trendy, undisciplined anti-gun inner-city liberals. Gee, I wonder who would win that war?

#1) Will Obama use Executive Order to call for gun confiscation?
The majority of those answering this question told me they did not believe Obama would call for outright gun confiscation. One detective told me, "Obama will probably try to roll out an incremental restriction similar to the '94 Clinton assault weapons ban." He would then wait for another mass shooting and use that event to ratchet up the restrictions, I was told.Only two of the eight people I questioned thought that Obama would call for outright gun confiscation, and one of those believed it would only be a restriction on so-called "assault rifles" but not shotguns or handguns.

On this issue, the answer was resounding and unanimous: NO!The retired police captain told me that, "Door-to-door confiscation by men and women in blue [i.e. city cops] would be a suicide mission." #3) What is the solution to stopping mass shootings?
The former police captain explained that the real problem with shootings in his city was, "dirt-cheap handguns" also called "Saturday Night Specials." As he explained, "People that spend $500 on a nice handgun are almost never the problem when it comes to violent crime. It's the ones who pick up a junk gun for $50 on the street."When I asked him about a practical solution to reduce shootings, he said that in his opinion, "Levying new taxes on all handguns like the tax stamps on class three weapons" would likely prevent new guns from being purchased by most violent criminals, but it wouldn't take guns out of the hands of criminals who already have them. Conclusion: Civil War?
All my contact in law enforcement are in Southern U.S. states. Opinions may be very different in Northern or Eastern cities such as Chicago, New York or New Jersey.Nevertheless, even if opinions are different in other cities and states, it is clear to me that law enforcement in Southern states will NOT comply with gun confiscation directives issued by Obama. Is this all a ploy to open the door for UN troops on the streets in America?
Finally, it's worth considering that civil war may be exactly what Obama wants to cause. It would rip America apart, making way for United Nations troops to invade and seize control, claiming "humanitarian" justification. This could be precisely the action needed to unleash blue helmets across America and push for nationwide disarmament and military occupation. In recognizing this, I'm about to re-read Patriots by James Wesley Rawles. Six signs you are vitamin C deficient
(NaturalNews) The common disease directly attributed to vitamin C deficiency is scurvy. Scurvy creates a malaise of fatigue and lethargy, affects bone and muscle strength, and stifles the immune system.
Some nutritional experts consider scurvy a manifestation of acidosis, extreme acidity or low pH. That condition gives rise to many other diseases, even cancer. Thanks to using citrus to curb the two million earlier sailors' scurvy, scurvy's occurrence has greatly diminished from the late 18th century till now. But it does still occur.
Due to terrible diets or practicing bulimia to become anorexic, there has been a scurvy surge among teens. It can also afflict alcoholics or older people whose ability to absorb vitamin C has diminished from excessive medications or poor diets.
Even infants who are not breast fed by a healthy mom can become scorbutic (manifesting scurvy symptoms). Although not a wise choice due to toxic additives, most infant formulas are fortified with vitamin C.
Most animals can create their own vitamin C. That's why they can recover from disease or injury quickly. The problem with us humans, Guinea pigs, and a few other primates is the gene involved with internal vitamin C manufacturing is missing.
The remedy is simple. Introduce more vitamin C food sources into the diet and/or add ascorbic acid supplementation.
(2) Bleeding gums, loose teeth, or gingivitis. This is an obvious and easy to notice sign that the collagen needed for building and maintaining tissue is deteriorating. Vitamin C is vital for collagen.
(3) Rapid mood changes, short tempers, and irritability can be an early sign of scurvy. Add more vitamin C to your diet or look into other possibilities before seeking pharmaceutical interventions.
(4) Bruises that occur easily, and often linger may be an indication of vitamin C deficiency. Low healing of minor wounds and dryer hair may also point to inadequate vitamin C levels.
(5) Chronic limb or joint pain is another sign for you to check into low vitamin C as a missing nutrient. Sometimes scurvy gets to a point where bleeding occurs within joints, causing severe pain.
(6) Anemia is another sign of possible vitamin C deficiency. If you seem to catch every cold or flu that comes your way, maybe more vitamin C will help elevate your immune system.
They used mice which were genetically engineered to deactivate the genes that normally provide their own vitamin C. Of course, those mice are kept alive and healthy by externally providing them vitamin C with ascorbic acid (AA).
But for the purposes of this study, they created periods of not providing AA and then reintroducing it. Before and after each period, blood samples were taken. During each deprivation period, behavioral patterns were observed and noted.
Depressive and submissive behavior was noted during the initial absence of AA. Compulsions for consuming glucose above all other food types was observed.
After depriving the mice of AA a second time, blood samples indicated "... decreased blood glucose levels, oxidative damage to lipids and proteins in the cortex, and decreases in dopamine and serotonin metabolites in both the cortex and striatum." In other words, neurological damage.
The miraculous results of IV mega-dose vitamin C or liposomal high cellular absorption vitamin C have been achieved by orthomolecular medical MDs who have used mega-dose minerals and vitamins for decades, resolving extreme physiological and psychological problems.
Mainstream medicine still won't go there. But you can. (http://www.naturalnews.com/034591_vitamin_C_mega-dose_healing.html)

Early signs of encroaching scurvy
(1) Chronic low energy, strength, and/or depression. Even bone strength is affected. Since acidosis and scurvy are similar, the classic acidosis symptom of wasting away becomes evident while losing weight.(2) Bleeding gums, loose teeth, or gingivitis. This is an obvious and easy to notice sign that the collagen needed for building and maintaining tissue is deteriorating. Vitamin C is vital for collagen.

Vitamin C deficiency creates neurological problems
A recent study conducted at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Neuroscience in Nashville, Tennessee and recorded in the Journal of Neurochemistry October, 2012, came up with some interesting observations.

Newtown: Two Shooters Were Captured Alive!
Obama brushes away a tear,
reminding us that he is a criminal, traitor and a fraud who uses the
massacre of children to advance his masters' totalitarian political
agenda. It's either our children or our guns, he tells Newtown audience.
Proof the US government and media are lying. They are complicit in the mass murder of US children. No mention of two men arrested in any of the coverage.
Two shooters caught.
One seen running from building, chased by police. Seen on this aerial video starting at 7.30 min -- More Confirmation from news report.
Another apprehended outside school, "proned out." (Can be heard on Police radio, heard on above video)
More eyewitness evidence man in camouflage pants arrested. Early references to other shooters disappearing.
--See UPDATE from George Freund immediately below article.
Who's Really to Blame for School Shooting? (Updated)
by Henry Makow Ph.D.
The aftermath of the Newtown school massacre is beginning to resemble the 9-11 false flag. Indeed, this is becoming the 9-11 of gun control, probably perpetrated by the same crowd. It's their MO. How long are Americans going to tolerate these pogroms?
The local police dispatch tape carries a report that a teacher saw two shooters running from the scene. (3.25)
According to George Freund,
"First officers in the school report the patsy dead. He may very well
have been killed by the two fleeing men who were probably the whack
team.
"Police
also report finding a shotgun. How do you carry a rifle, a shotgun, two
pistols, and all sorts of ammo with two hands and kill so many people.
You are obviously NOT alone.

Human Embryos as Hors D’oeuvres? Devaluing Human Life
Judie Brown
Life News.com
December 15, 2012
In today’s twisted ethical environment, the status of the human person increasingly depends on the opinion of the individual closest to the microphone, the person teaching the college ethics class, the individual making a personal “reproductive health” decision, or someone in charge of the surgical suite. It is objectively true that nothing any longer shocks most of us because nothing is objectively right or wrong.
Our culture is, for the most part, suffering from moral amnesia.
The qualities of the human person that might define him as such are subject to all kinds of caveats. Taking the life of someone may or may not be deemed a crime; using human beings for research may or may not be acceptable. Everything depends on the slide rule of human opinion.
Recently Rebecca Taylor addressed this subject in her article, “Human Caviar, Eating Human Embryos as a New Delicacy?” She was referring to an article by Jewish ethicist Leon Kass entitled “The Meaning of Life—In the Laboratory.” Kass does not argue that the human blastocyst is a human individual, per se. Rather he flounders, suggesting that this entity at his earliest stages of development “is not nothing.” Kass embraces the idea that this early human possesses “potential,” but he does not define him as a human being. He writes that the human embryo deserves our respect not because it has rights or claims or sentience (which it does not have at this stage), but because of what it is, now and prospectively.

VIDEO: TSA Calls Wheelchair Bound Girl, Death on Wheels
Infowars.com
December 15, 2012
TSA detained a 12-year-old wheelchair-bound girl for nearly an hour at the DFW International Airport after they found explosive residue on her hands. TSA left the mortified girl in tears, but refused to let her mother get close enough to comfort her.
Shelbi Walser was traveling to Florida with her mother, Tammy Daniels, to receive treatment for a bone disorder that keeps her in a wheelchair. The 12-year-old girl is forced to make this trip every 4-6 months for treatment and never had any problems with the Transportation Security Administration before.
But while going through security at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport last week, TSA swabbed the girl’s hands and found that she tested positive for explosive residue. Walser was detained for nearly an hour in front of hundreds of travelers, while TSA called in a bomb specialist.
“There were people saying, ‘Really? You’re going to do this to her? Y’all have to take her somewhere private where she’s not out in the public and everyone can see her,’” the girl’s mother told Fox.
http://www.infowars.com/tsa-calls-bomb-specialist-on-wheelchair-bound-12-year-old-girl-with-bone-disorder/
The girl, who suffers from brittle bone disease, and is confined to a wheelchair, was “randomly” selected for an explosives test while traveling to Florida for specialist medical treatment.
“I was just scared, because I didn’t know what they were going to do,” Walser told KHOU News 8.
A screener swabbed the girl’s hands and was no doubt delighted that she tested positive for “explosive material”.
“It could have come off fertilizer, because we have chickens. I could have run through something from them,” little Shelbi bravely told reporters. “It could have just come off the ground, because I roll through everything.”
The screeners then called for bomb specialists to come to the terminal to assess the situation.
Ms Daniels said that she was physically restrained by TSA agents and not allowed to comfort her daughter during the ordeal.
“I am by no means undermining our safety in the air. After 9/11, by no means am I doing that,” Daniels added. “But when it comes to children, common sense is not in a textbook.”
To top it all off, the TSA failed to check the wheelchair, which was most likely the source of the material that found its way onto the girl’s hands.
One positive note from the incident was reportedly in the reaction of onlooking travelers who took issue with the TSA’s actions.
“There were people saying, ‘Really? You’re going to do this to her? Y’all have to take her somewhere private where she’s not out in the public and everyone can see her,’” Shelbi said.
Eventually mother and daughter were told they were free to go, without being offered an explanation by TSA screeners.
In a statement regarding the incident, the TSA wrote:

“We are sensitive to the concerns of passengers who were not satisfied with their screening experience and we invite those individuals to provide feedback to TSA through a variety of channels.”Whether they are touching up toddlers in wheelchairs, humiliating cancer victims, or removing diapers from sick grannies rest assured that the TSA is keeping you safe America. Keeping you safe from the dangerous terrorists that hate your freedoms.
“We work to balance those concerns with the very real threat that our adversaries will attempt to use explosives to carry out attacks on planes.”

Newtown school shooting story already being changed by the media
To eliminate eyewitness reports of a second shooter
Mike Adams
Natural News
December 15, 2012
The national media is ablaze today with coverage of the tragic elementary school shooting in Newtown, CT, where 27 people have reportedly been killed, including 18 children.
As always, when violent shootings take place, honest journalists are forced to ask the question: “Does this fit the pattern of other staged shootings?”
One of the most important red flags of a staged shooting is a second gunman, indicating the shooting was coordinated and planned. There are often mind control elements at work in many of these shootings. The Aurora “Batman” shooter James Holmes, for example, was a graduate student actually working on mind control technologies funded by the U.S. government. There were also chemical mind control elements linked to Jared Lee Loughner, the shooter of Congresswomen Giffords in Arizona in 2011.
According to multiple eyewitness reports from Aurora, Colorado, including at least one caught on camera by mainstream media news reports in Colorado, James Holmes did not operate alone. There was a second shooter involved. But the media quickly eliminated any mention of a second shooter from its coverage, resorting to the typical cover story of a “lone gunman.”
Today, the exact same thing is happening with the Newton, CT school shooting.
As the story of this shooting was first breaking, the news was reporting a second gunman.
FoxNews reported that this second gunman was “led out of the woods by officers” and then questioned. The original source of this report was the Connecticut Post.
A local CBS affiliate was also reporting the existence of a second gunman and said “Police believe there may be a second gunman and are looking for a red or maroon van with its back window blown out…”
ABC News also originally reported, “A second gunman is apparently at large. Car-to-car searches are underway.”
A local CT CBS affiliate was also reporting, “CBS News reports that a potential second shooter is in custody and that SWAT is now investigating the home of the suspect. A witness tells WFSB-TV that a second man was taken out of the woods in handcuffs wearing a black jacket and camouflage pants and telling parents on the scene, ‘I did not do it.’”
But the more recent stories being put out by the media are scrubbing any mention of a second gunman and going with the “lone gunman” explanation, which holds about as much water as the “lone gunman” explanation of the JFK assassination.
“A lone gunman killed 27 people at an elementary school here, including 18 children, in a terrifying early Friday morning shooting spree,” reports USA Today. It makes no mention whatsoever of a second gunman.
NBC News is also now chiming in with the “lone gunman” version of the story, eliminating any mention of a second gunman from its coverage of the tragic event.
Another story authored by NBC News carries the title, “26 dead after lone gunman assaults Connecticut elementary school.” Once again, no mention of a second gunman as reported by eyewitnesses.
When key elements of the story keeps changing, something is fishy
Journalists are trained to ask questions, and one of the questions I have right now is: Why was the second gunman suddenly dropped from media coverage after the first few hours of this story developing?
And why is there always a second gunman in these recent mass shootings that seem to be engineered to maximize emotional shock value due to the sheer horror of all the innocent deaths?
This story is continuing to develop, and we’ll keep asking questions here on Natural News. Our hearts and prayers go out to the children and families impacted by this violent tragedy. Given the terrible loss of life that has taken place here, shouldn’t we all seek to get to the bottom of WHY these shootings all seem to fit a common pattern of multiple mind-controlled shooters followed by an almost immediate media cover-up of the facts?
For the sake of those children who were killed today, I want to get to the bottom of this and expose the REAL story, for the purpose of stopping this violence from targeting yet more innocents in the future.

Vatican Calls for the Establishment of World Government and a New World Order
The leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI, has called for the establishment of World Government and a New World Order.
In a speech made at the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace
on Monday December 3 2012, the Pope called for the “construction of a
world community, with a corresponding authority,” to serve the “common
good of the human family”.As a means of defending global peace and justice, the pope’s vision for the establishment of World Government and a New World Order is supposedly not to create a new superpower, but a new governing body that offers to those (politicians) who are responsible for making decisions, criteria for judgment and practical guidelines.
The pope was quoted as saying:
The proposed body (World Government) would not be a superpower, concentrated in the hands of a few, which would dominate all peoples, exploiting the weakest.
THE pope also described his vision as a “moral force” or moral authority that has the “power to influence in accordance with reason, that is, a participatory authority, limited by law in its jurisdiction.”
US government intelligence agencies see possible economic collapse, resource wars, the fall of America by 2030
(NaturalNews) The latest report from the National Intelligence Council explores megatrends that will impact America through 2030. The report is a jaw-dropper, as it openly explains that America will be overtaken by China as the world's dominant economic superpower. It also lays out the likelihood of megatrends such as global economic collapse, wars over food and water, energy scarcity and the rise of the individual against the state.
The full report is available as a download from the National Intelligence Council website.
"In terms of the indices of overall power -- GDP, population size, military spending and technological investment -- Asia will surpass North America and Europe combined," the report concludes. Rather than the world being dominated by a single superpower as it is now, China will be the global force to be reckoned with, it says.
The report also warns that if the U.S. government collapses or suddenly weakens, it would set off "global anarchy." This is especially worrisome, given the accelerating financial debt blowout strategy being pursued by President Obama, who has added more debt to the federal government (by far) than any other President in U.S. history. Now at $16.3 trillion, the national debt is only accelerating, putting the nation on a collision course with certain economic collapse.
Also today, a Chinese consortium group is purchasing AIG's aircraft leasing business ILFC for a whopping $4.8 billion, giving China a ready network of private aircraft worldwide.
According to Reuters, China went on a "deal-making spree" in 2012, spending $56.8 billion on acquisitions. A Chinese company has also recently purchased a Canadian energy company Nexen for $15.1 billion.
Earlier this year, a Chinese firm also purchased the AMC movie theater chain for $2.6 billion, giving China near-total control over what movies are shown in America. This has already resulted in one striking piece of editorial censorship with the movie "Red Dawn" which was painstakingly altered to change Chinese enemy soldiers to North Korean soldiers in order to appease the Chinese government. If the film had not been altered, it certainly would not have been shown in AMC theaters, now owned by the Chinese. This is how communist Chinese propaganda has already reached U.S. shores.
The rise of China is just of one the many trends outlined in the report. Also noted are the demographic aging of the global population, the continued rise of the population and the urbanization of the population (i.e. more people living in cities). The global population is expected to hit 8.3 billion by 2030, barring the release of a global pandemic which is also flagged by the intelligence report as a possibility. (They most likely know this because they are the same people planning on releasing a deadly pandemic bioweapon as a form of "population control.")
Food demand will rise 35 percent by 2030, the report warns, and global demand for fresh water will rise 40 percent, reaching 6,900 billion cubic meters. This level of demand is simply not possible to meet with today's water infrastructure, and the report predicts the rise of regional water wars in Africa and the Middle East, along with severe shortages in India and China.
The report also predicts that global climate change will cause increased radicalization of crops and food production, further worsening resource shortages. Whether a fluke or part of a large pattern, we have clearly seen radicalized weather in North America over the past few years, with 500-year droughts devastating the Midwest this year, and another 500-year drought slamming Texas last year. This has sent price shockwaves throughout the food and feed industries, and food inflation is on track to hit hard in February of 2013.
Also mentioned in the report is the "energy independence" of the USA, which is achieved by exploitation of the huge deposits of oil shale that have already been identified in America. The report concludes that this energy can be extracted in large volumes, returning America to complete energy independence. It does not, however, discuss the environmental impact of extracting and processing all this shale oil.
The report assumes that cooperation among the three world powers -- USA, China and Russia -- always makes for a better future. It says that a strong USA is important for global stability and that a weakened U.S. government would foment global instability.
Nowhere in the report does it cover the U.S. government's fall into tyranny and oppression via the NDAA, the highly abusive TSA, the rise of the NSA surveillance state or other areas of concern. Instead, the report supposes that China and Russia might experience a "collapse of authoritarianism" and become democratic partners with America. (And yes, America today has already experience a collapse of liberty!)
America is no longer democratic, however, even in 2012. Vote fraud is rampant, the money supply is controlled by a private banking cartel called the Federal Reserve, and the Bill of Rights has been obliterated by the Patriot Act, the NDAA and other oppressive laws enacted over the last decade. If China suddenly abandons authoritarianism, it will once again find itself opposite the United States which has now openly embraced it. America is emerging as the new North Korea. Not even in communist China do air travelers get sexually molested by government thugs before being allowed to board airplanes.
You'd be far better informed subscribing to Gerald Celente's Trends Research Journal (www.TrendsResearch.com) which gives you an independent, well-informed look at what's coming in our future.
InfoWars.com also has a far better track record of predicting the future than any number of government intelligence agencies. Alex Jones, for example, correctly and accurately predicted the attack on the 9/11 Twin Towers, months before they took place.
Government "intelligence" agencies have a highly distorted view of reality that comes from a grossly misplaced faith in government itself. Yet what we really see happening in our world is the global failure of governments across Greece, Spain, Japan, America and elsewhere.
The real trend for 2030 is the mass awakening of the individual as people come to realize just how oppressive and evil government has become. As that happens, the people of the world recognize that they have been abused, exploited and ripped off by the governments of the world. The People will rise up against corruption, private cartel banking, oppressive taxation and North Korea-style oppression of freedom and liberty.
That's the trend the government's intelligence groups will never see coming because none of them are in touch with real people who work for a living in the private sector (the real world). To work in government, feeding off government and promoting government delusions is to live in a total fantasy land that denies reality. Only those who work in the private sector have an accurate view of economic reality.
By 2030, the United States of America will have already suffered economic collapse and possibly even a popular revolt or revolution. Liberty will rise up against its oppressors, and the global banking cartels will either rule the world or their leaders will have been executed, depending on whether the People awaken in time to save their own futures from economic destruction.
The real trend of 2030 is that America is already an occupied nation ruled and run by Goldman Sachs operatives which include Obama. Elite bankster insiders are attempting to take over the world, and they have already achieved huge successes in that quest across the globe. Can they be stopped before they destroy economic freedom and crush national economies? That's the real question the intelligence agencies should be asking... if they had any real intelligence.
The rise of China has already begun
Just this week, China has been seen buying up key assets from the U.S. private sector. A Chinese firm recently won the bid for U.S. battery maker A123, one of the darling alternative energy companies highlighted by the Obama administration. Now, Wanxiang Group Corp. will be purchasing the company for $256 million.
This is how communist Chinese propaganda has already reached U.S. shores.
We pay China to take over America
So the way this works is that Americans buy cheap plastic crap manufactured in China and sold at Wal-Mart, then China uses that money to turn around and buy America's energy companies, technology companies and infrastructure hubs. Little by little, China takes over America's economy and businesses. This is part of the strategy of how China achieves global dominance by 2030.The rise of China is just of one the many trends outlined in the report.
A tri-polar "liberal world order" with the USA, China and Russia
Some of the language of the report seems to point in the direction of global governance. The report often talks about a "Liberal Order" and "World Order" as if this is the default desirable goal of government.

Questioning the National Intelligence Council's intelligence
In summary, I have to question the intelligence of this report. It glosses over the real trends of the future -- such as the rise of tyranny in America -- while proposing many trends that don't seem to line up with reality. You'd be far better informed subscribing to Gerald Celente's Trends Research Journal (www.TrendsResearch.com) which gives you an independent, well-informed look at what's coming in our future.
